PMFC won the derby with penalties
PMFC tried to quickly settle the women’s day derby in the NB III. 19th round of the Southwest Division. Although PEAC had a dangerous header, in the 18th minute Novák scored from the following counter attack , and before the break Babati increased the advantage of the red-blacks from a penalty. After the turn, it seemed that another Babati penalty would decide the match, but after Mlinárcsik’s dismissal, the students caught up and almost forced a draw in the dying minutes.
HEAD COACH EVALUATION: Gábor Molnár, the head coach of our first team, evaluated the second match of the year:
“First of all, I would like to start by congratulating and wishing the PMFC team much success. My players deserve maximum praise despite the defeat, I told them this in the dressing room after the whistle. They performed exemplary both as a team and individually. We can and should build on such matches. We are no longer the team that our opponents can eliminate with a wave of their arm. Today was once again a match that proved that we do have a place in this class. I could say a lot about what happened before and during the match, but I prefer not to. ”
