PEAC MAINTAIN WINNING START IN HUNGARIAN NBIII

PTE-PEAC-Siófok 2-1 (1–0)

There are only five teams with a hundred percent record left in the NB III. South-West group, two of them from Pécs after the PTE-PEAC won their own match on Sunday. (The PMFC defeated Majos on Saturday.)

The university guard welcomed Siófok, but as a bad host he let his guest home empty-handed. Czimmerman took the goal of the Lake Balaton side in the 44th minute, who equalized after the turn through Attila Horváth, but finally Péter Major’s goal kept all the points at home.

They moved on to the next round of the Hungarian Cup.

The PTE-PEAC football team was present at the home of Szekszárd for the opening round of the Hungarian Cup. The Pécs team knocked out the championship rival from the series with Zalán Szabó’s double.

The university team received Sárbogárd in the first round and kept all three points. First in the 29th minute, Leidl scored, then Péter Major doubled the advantage in the 36th minute. Csoma-László gave the guests hope in the 74th minute, but this came too late.

PTE-PEAC wins at Szekszárd again

The PTE-PEAC took the lead in the 14th minute of the PTE-PEAC v Szekszárd NB III. 4th round, the score did not change. So after the Hungarian Cup clash, the Pécs team proved again to be better with one goal at the home of the yellow-blacks. Pécs, who was fighting against the relegation last year, with this win caught up with the podium finishers, while the Szekszárd team still has no goals and points in the championship.
