PEAC settled quickly, in a match they needed to win in order to move away from the relegation zone, with Major scoring after two minutes. However, Dombóvár drew level midway through the first half, but goals from Orlovics (31) and Bachesz (41) settled the guests nerves leading up to halftime. Following halftime Dombóvár again fought back with a goal from Bunevácz (52). However, any hope they had of drawing level was extinguished by goals from Encz (75) and Hawkins (82) which gave PEAC a well deserved victory and valuable 3 points.
